A few Fridays ago Heather, Cheryl, and I broadcast live from Sunshine Glaze, a local pottery painting studio near our house. Above is a sampling of what we were working on.
The idea for our shine tokens came from a post we did about a year ago when we featured the Shine Balls presented to each person participating in our second annual, Taste of USA. Click here to find out how we made ours. And, click here to see the Snow Balls we made as holiday gifts.
We are rolling stones, so continual improvement is part of what Heather, Cheryl, and I do.
I insisted our party favors could easily become hot gift items if... "Inside every one there was a little shine." That's because Shine Manifesto Principle #6 states, "everyone is good at something" and Shine Balls are great way to acknowledge someone's inner shine.
Imagine the excitement of your friend, colleague, or neighbor who - after peeling back layer after layer after layer of our trinket balls - were to discover a handmade Shine token. Carry it in a pocket, use it as a paper weight, or tie it into the bow of the next gift you give. Not only is the token inspirational, it is also practical.

The House of Shine's much-anticipated Yellow Awning Shop will open its doors in the next couple of weeks. Expect to see our Shine Balls in stock.
Shining off until tomorrow...
